Dr. Greg Marasa B.Sc., D.M.D.
Dr. Greg Marasa grew up in the North Surrey area and continues to live there today with his wife and four kids.
Dr. Marasa obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University before obtaining his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree (DMD) from the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Marasa believes that it is important to make the dental experience as comfortable as possible. He believes that compassion for his patients and humour are the best ways to achieve this, but sedation can help too!
Dr. Marasa feels strongly about taking the time to educate his patients on treatment options.
Although Dr. Marasa enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, his particular areas of interest are orthodontics, endodontics (root canal therapy) and oral surgery. Dr. Marasa ensures he stays up to date with the latest technology and research with his commitment to many hours of continuing education outside of his private practice.
When not working, Dr. Marasa mostly enjoys spending time with his lovely family, finding the latest and greatest restaurant, travelling, exercising and golfing.
Dr. Frank Marasa B.Sc., D.M.D.
Dr. Frank Marasa received his B.Sc., in Chemistry, in 1976 and his D.M.D. in 1979 from the University of British Columbia (UBC). He has been in private practice in Surrey, B.C. for over 30 years and is a past-president of the Surrey Memorial Hospital Dental Staff. He has taken numerous continuing education courses over the years concentrating mostly on TMD and orthodontic care. He has published numerous articles in the Journal of the American Academy of Gnathologic Orthopedics as well as articles in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, The Functional Orthodontist and CRANIO.
Dr. Marasa is currently a member of the Cranial Academy and a Board member (Continuing Education Program Chairman) of the American Academy of Gnathologic Orthopedics (A.A.G.O.). He is also the mentor of an orthodontic study club in Seattle. He currently teaches Session III (Crozat and Functional Appliance Therapy) in the A.A.G.O.’s Continuing Education Series. He is also part-time clinical instructor in the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC. He practices most aspects of dental care and also offers either braces or Invisalign treatment, for straightening teeth.
Dr. Marasa has recently retired. We wish him the best and hope he has ample time to play raquetball, enjoy the outdoors, golf, water ski, and walk his dog.
Dr. Sarah Wruck B.Sc., D.M.D.
Dr. Sarah Wruck received her BSc. at the University of Victoria before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
Born and raised in the small town of 100 Mile House, BC, Dr. Wruck has always enjoyed getting to know entire families, from infants to seniors. She has always loved working with children, and was fortunate to have travelled to Kenya to work with children who had never previously had the opportunity to access dental care.
Dr. Wruck enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She strives to provide high quality dental treatment while ensuring her patients are comfortable throughout their dental care experience.
In her spare time, Dr. Wruck enjoys spending time with her niece, sailing with her husband, and running with her energetic dog.
