As your friendly neighbourhood dentists, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of you. Or, if not, we hope to in the future! And since the best time to begin seeing a dentist is within 6 months of getting your first baby tooth, and we’ve been here over 20 years, we’ve known some of you for a long time indeed!

These enduring relationships, built on trust, are part of what we love about what we do. Certainly, providing state-of-the-art, high-quality dental care to all of our patients, young and old is the core of our mission. However, it’s also about being a part of our North Surrey and Riverside Heights communities near the Guildford Mall and Fraser Heights.

We like to support our communities by doing something special from time to time. Today we’re sharing a few of the things we’ve done to spread awareness and help out.

School Supplies Donation

Returning to school should be an exciting time for Surrey children! But it can be hard for kids in struggling families. We set up a donation centre here in Riverside Heights to collect and distribute extra pens, pencils, crayons, erasers, glue, duo-tangs, note books, paper, scissors, rulers, backpacks and everything else our kids need to make a fresh start in a new school year.

Facebook Contest

Who doesn’t love a contest with a cool prize? We held a Facebook contest to give away an Oral-B Electric Toothbrush to a Surrey resident. Electric toothbrushes are shown to have an edge over manual toothbrushes in the fight against plaque. Studies finding these conclusions were posted by Cochrane, an independent health care researcher and the other by the International Journal of Dental Hygiene. We hope the lucky winner enjoys using her new powered toothbrush!

Outreach

Quality dental care is a challenge in many parts of the world. So when a patient asked if we could help we were more than happy to say yes and donate dental care supplies from our North Surrey practice to her cause.
