The Veneer Procedure

The procedure for veneers is very similar to crowns and bridges but requires much less removal of tooth structure.  The teeth are lightly prepared, often requiring little to no anesthesia, and an accurate impression is taken of the teeth.  The impression is sent to the lab and the technician makes the teeth to the dentist's specifications including shape and colour.  Often no temporary veneers are made because the teeth are very lightly prepared beforehand.
